Art Deco Rolled Gold Portrait Cameo Brooch

Vintage small oval portrait brooch dating from the 1930s-1940s.
Containing a very pretty carved shell cameo which has been claw set into a rolled gold setting with hammered effect and etched details around the frame, stamped RG on the reverse, fastens with a pin and roll over style clasp, a loop is also present so it can be worn on a chain as a pendant.
Very good condition with no damage to the cameo, there is some patina commensurate with age.
Brooch measures 3.25 cm. ( 1.28 ins.) x 2.75 cm. ( 1.08 ins.) x 0.8 cm. ( 0.31 ins.)
